State Road 37 Improvements

  1. The 126th Street Interchange is Now Open!

The 126th St. & SR37 Interchange is complete and open to traffic.  Drivers will now experience a grade-separated interchange with SR 37 reconstructed below-grade with 126th Street converted to a roundabout interchange. Drivers will now have free-flow traffic movement with the elimination of the signalized intersection –all of which is part of Phase One of the State Road 37 Improvement Project.  The project broke ground at this intersection in September of 2019.

    146th Street
Phase 1 construction on 146th Street & SR 37 has been completed. This phase consisted of the temporary pavement on SR 37 and 146th Street and median work. Phase II construction is underway with traffic moved to the interior lanes and all left turns restricted on SR 37 and on 146th Street as work begins on constructing the ramps. Through traffic and right turns on SR 37 and 146th Street will remain open during this phase. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes for all left turn access. See the Alternate Route Map.

Beginning on Monday, December 14 at 9 a.m., northbound SR 37 will be restricted to one lane from just north of 146th Street to approximately the overhead message board. Southbound SR 37 will also be restricted to one lane from approximately the overhead message board to 800’ north of the overhead message board. These restrictions will stay continuous until work is complete.
